A Productivity Boost
Working from home will likely be a necessity over the next few months at least, so while we still have broadband and high spec. devices, we can remain productive. If need be, you can liaise with clients, colleagues or managers with any one of the many messenger apps like Whatsapp and Telegram. Free from distractions and eliminating the commute, we find more gets done.
The downside includes experiencing “Wandering Body Clock”. Without the anchor on your life of having to ‘arrive on time’, our bodies very easily fall out of sync with the rest of the world, work time veers towards your own preference. For me, a night owl, that means the wee hours. You might be an early bird but as long as there is a sensible agreed time to be available for your collaborators, there should be no problem.
